Patrice Angle

Investor & Marketing Director


Patrice Angle currently active in the cannabis community as an investor and marketing advisor in the industry. Her expertise is in B-to-B marketing and political affairs, helping small to medium size companies on business development and marketing. She has spent most of her career in the energy sector and worked on two alternative energy start-up companies most recently as Chief Marketing Officer for an early stage magnetic energy company.


In 2008, she was appointed to direct marketing and communications for the first CAFE Standards in 20 years for passenger vehicles. Prior to her work with CAFE, Patrice was asked by the Department of Energy to reorganize its renewable energy marketing office. As Director for the Department’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency technologies, Patrice created a state-of-art marketing office to promote commercialization of technologies including hydrogen, solar, wind, biomass, geothermal and energy-efficient building technologies. She introduced new marketing and communications technologies.


Patrice has a long career in the petroleum and petro-chemical industries in marketing and communications with Ashland Oil and Chevron working on environmentally safe product lines, building strong relationships with key environmental groups. She gained her expertise in communications with the world’s largest PR firm – Burson-Marsteller managing both public affairs and B to-B marketing programs. She has also served as part of the advance team and in press advance for two United States Presidents.


Today, Patrice divides her time between marketing and being an active Realtor with Long and Foster/Christies International Realty. She is currently involved in non-profit activities and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.  She holds a BA in Political Science and International Affairs from UNC-Chapel Hill and has done graduate work, in marketing, at Georgetown University.
