Atul Sood

Founder & CEO of Oventio

Atul Sood is a serial entrepreneur and senior business development executive deeply experienced in the CRM and Big Data Analytics Industries. As founder and CEO of Oventio, a big data company based in Oakland, CA, Sood developed deep expertise in the CRM ecosystem and organically built an organization that supported 18 staff members and hundreds of clients. Prior to founding Oventio, Sood had a varied career spanning Wall Street, software technology, and services. He previously ran the successful turnaround of Karvy Global Services, a provider of research and analytics to Wall Street banks. Prior, he created and ran the Solutions Business Unit for MphasiS, a 20,000 person strong IT Services Company that was acquired by EDS in 2006. Sood also spent 5 years at Trilogy, an enterprise software company based in Austin, TX and started his career as a Investment Banking financial analyst at Oppenheimer & Company.

Sood graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He is an active advisor to the Keller Center for Entrepreneurship at Princeton University and Tigerlabs.
