Not only are edibles gaining popularity with current consumers, but they are also the product of choice for potential consumers. In 2022, 17% of current consumers said they use non-flower cannabis products only. That jumped to 21% in 2023. Also in 2023, 70% of people considering using cannabis for the first time said they would choose edibles. Consumers are loyal to brands they like. Forty-five percent of consumers say they always or usually buy the same brand of edibles, and only 7% say they rarely purchase the same edibles brand twice.
