Tracking the daily sales activity in the state of Washington over a six month period has revealed two clear trends about marijuana consumption:
- Marijuana purchases are highest on Thursdays and Fridays, before falling by as much as 40% on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Sales have increased each month over the past six months, although the gains in October were the smallest month-over-month increases. The results in October are likely due to competition from recreational sales in Oregon, which began on October 1st.
