Monthly medical marijuana sales have risen steadily in Arizona, from 36,035 ounces in January 2015 to 54,353 ounces in July 2015, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.
During that period, marijuana flower consistently accounted for approximately 90% of the product sold.
The average volume of product sold per patient also increased from 0.57 oz. to 0.69 oz. indicating growing demand as the marijuana program expands.
