Medical Marijuana Patient Growth In Washington, DC From 2014 To 2015

The number of patients participating in Washington, D.C.’s medical marijuana program has grown more than ten-fold between May 2014 and July 2015, from 362 to 3,948.

This represents 0.6% of the city’s population.

Men have registered at twice the rate of women, with men now accounting for two-thirds (68%) of the city’s patients.
