Analysis of medial marijuana patient data across 5 states shows that Severe Pain and Chronic Pain patient numbers account for the majority of all medical marijuana patients. Across these markets, pain accounts for more patients than all other conditions combined. This implies that medical marijuana markets that include vs. those that don’t include pain as a qualifying condition will be much more robust markets.
